a new logo

the daughters school was running a contest to design a new logo for the parents association. we participated and also drew something up!

the logo had to contain the theme 'connection', between the school and the parents association. this is what we came up with! the daughter decided we had to incorporate the color rusty orange, because it's the color of the school. and there had to be a kid in it.

we even won the competition and our logo is shining bright in every school newsletter now. a proud moment for our little artist :D

I started doodling in Procreate not that long ago. Just for fun. The program can keep me busy for hours, and I can completely lose myself in digital pencils and beautiful color palettes.

This is my first experiment. Let's see where it will take me...

spring equals flowers

This month I drew a lot! Not just for the new digital drawing course I'm doing. Also on paper.



I drew animals. A new version of the bunny I made a while ago. She got spring flowers in her hair.

For my pen pal Malu I made a letter. For the envelope I used a page from Flow Magazine.

Fitting to the envelope, I made a bigger bear.

A card that was created during lockdown, made to cheer others up now that we are all stuck at home and unable to go anywhere. We could all use some extra love and hugs! I already sent some bears in the mail <3

bear found a friend

Remember when I sent out teddy bears with some extra love? Bear now has a friend, a little rabbit!

They get to hang on the wall together in the nursery, so cute!
